Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial measurement and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting for government regulations.
• Experience running consumer web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical, user experience, and project management trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in accounting practices.
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Oversee system conversions and integrations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal, public policy, business, and operations teams to ensure accuracy of accounting processes.
• Ensure audit logging, system monitoring, and IT collaboration for compliance.
• Develop program documentation, training content, and manuals.
• Proactively socialize and build buy-in for product initiatives with partners and agencies.
• Define project direction, scope, and priority from initiatives to features and metrics.
• Lead discovery meetings with agencies and contractors.
• Measure progress toward business goals and translate data into action.
