Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is a remote-first consultancy focused on government services modernization. We seek an experienced accounting professional to lead financial practices, ensure compliance, and guide cross-functional teams through policy-driven implementation.

You will partner with legal, policy, and IT teams to optimize accounting processes, manage integrations, and communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders while supporting a flexible, remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience running and/or shipping consumer web applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in accounting practices.
• Lead and manage the integration of accounting software solutions to improve process efficiency and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure audit logging, system integrations and monitoring.
• Define project direction, scope, and priority from high-level initiatives to features and metrics.
• Socialize and build buy-in for product initiatives with partners and contractors.
