Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is a fully remote-friendly consultancy specializing in government services modernization.

We seek a seasoned accounting/product professional to lead financial systems integration, drive program improvements, and align projects with policy and stakeholder needs. You will partner with legal, public policy, and operations teams to guarantee accurate accounting processes, implement new software solutions, and monitor performance against business metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles.
Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience running and/or shipping consumer web applications.
Ability to generate very strong product plans and build buy-in across teams and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical, UX, and PM trade-offs; ability to address gaps.
Ability to identify market trends and update plans accordingly.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship required.
May be subject to government background check or security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize integration of accounting software to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software implementation and integration.
Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure audit logging, system integrations, and monitoring are effective.
Provide training and support on new software applications and tools.
Define project direction and priorities from initiatives to features and metrics.
Socialize and build buy-in for product initiatives with teams, partners, and contractors.
Prioritize roadmaps with project management to align inbound work.
Represent Nava's outcome- and user-centric approach in agency and contractor discovery meetings.
Measure progress toward business goals and translate data insights into action.
