Job summary

Coinbase is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead the finance model for a tokenized equities product. You will own the accounting policy, regulatory reporting, and controls across on-chain and off-chain systems, coordinating with regulators and external auditors.

You will build processes under US GAAP and IFRS, manage internal controls, and drive accurate, scalable financial reporting for a regulated product launch.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA highly preferred.
• Strong accounting or finance experience in regulated settings (capital markets, broker-dealer, digital assets).
• Experience interacting with a financial regulator (inquiries, exams, filings).
• Ability to apply accounting rules to new or complex products.

Responsibilities

• Build accounting model for token issuance, redemption, asset tracking, and close process.
• Own regulatory compliance and reporting to FSRA for the business.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data.
• Lead accounting analysis for new structures under US GAAP and IFRS (dividends, splits).
• Develop reporting framework for issuer entity, including audited IFRS financials and local filings.
• Establish a robust control environment for regulated launch with audit trails and data integrity.
