Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Lending Products, to own end-to-end accounting for Prime Financing and Brokerage. You’ll build processes, manage monthly close, and ensure accurate financial reporting as the business scales.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will lead a team, design SOPs, implement automation, and partner with cross-functional groups on SEC regulations and lending practices to drive efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with 9+ years of accounting experience in fintech or financial services.
• Experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a public company including SEC reporting.
• Proven ability to design SOPs and automate close processes.
• Experience leading a team through monthly close, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Proficient with NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite.
• Responsible use of AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and close documentation.
• Build scalable, automated processes and SOPs for SOX compliance.
• Lead monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audits.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on SEC rules and lending practices.
• Design and implement new controls for platform and brokerage accounting.
