Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager for Lending Products. You will own end-to-end accounting for prime financing and brokerage, build scalable controls, and lead a team through monthly closes and audits.

The role partners across functions to ensure accurate reporting in a fast-growing environment. The position requires a CPA and extensive experience, with proficiency in NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required with 9+ years of accounting experience across public and private sectors.
• Experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting in a public company, including SEC reporting.
• Ability to design SOPs and automation to shorten close timelines and reduce errors.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting docs.
• Build scalable, automated processes and controls for prime financing with SOX in mind.
• Lead monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit readiness with deadlines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate regulatory developments into accounting guidance.
• Drive new controls and processes to keep pace with business growth.
