Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager, Lending Products to own end-to-end accounting for prime financing and brokerage.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Prime Brokerage and Digital Assets, you will build processes and controls from the ground up, lead the monthly close, and partner cross-functionally as the business scales. The role requires a CPA with 9+ years of experience in fintech or financial services, with direct lending/financing accounting expertise and proficiency in

Qualifications

CPA designation with 9+ years of accounting experience in fintech or financial services.
Experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting.
Proven ability to build accounting processes and internal controls from scratch.
Experience leading a team through monthly close, quarterly and annual reporting.
Familiarity with NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite for close and reporting.

Responsibilities

Own review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Build scalable, automated processes and controls for prime financing, drafting SOPs and supporting SOX.
Lead the monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit processes, with audit-ready deliverables.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate regulatory developments into actionable accounting guidance.
Drive design and implementation of new controls for platform and brokerage accounting to support growth.
