Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Accounting Manager, Lending Products, to own end-to-end accounting for prime financing and brokerage. You will lead a team through monthly closes, quarterly reporting, and annual audits, while partnering with cross-functional teams to translate SEC and lending regulatory developments into actionable accounting guidance.

You will build scalable processes, develop SOPs, and implement automation to improve accuracy and close timelines in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• CPA with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience in fintech or financial services.
• Direct experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a publicly traded company.
• Proven track record building accounting processes and internal controls from the ground up, with automation.
• Experience leading a team through monthly close cycles, quarterly/annual reporting, and audits.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Own review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Build scalable, automated financial processes and controls for prime financing and SOX compliance.
• Lead the team through monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audits.
• Provide accounting insights on SEC regulations and lending practices.
• Drive new controls and processes for platform and brokerage accounting to keep pace with growth.
