Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager - Lease to oversee fixed asset and leasing accounting, lead a team of accountants, and drive accurate, timely financial reporting across multiple divisions. You will champion internal controls and process improvements while guiding staff toward key KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related analytical field required.
• MA/MBA preferred.
• Job relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CPA).
• 5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• Experience leading projects, process improvements, and/or people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close process for leases; manage lease entries and reconciliations (Blackline) and rollforwards.
• Handle CoStar exports for journal entries and SOX tie out; manage fleet funding and lease payment tie outs.
• Produce quarterly rollforwards and schedule supports for the Analytical Deck and annual lease footnotes.
• Oversee new lease classifications and loading into CoStar; perform workflow reviews.
• Manage lease extensions/terminations and maintenance in CoStar; oversee technical accounting transactions.
• Research and resolve lease accounting issues; perform tests to ensure internal controls compliance.
• Conduct financial analyses to identify potential issues; review complex balance sheets.
