Job summary

Talentfoot Executive Search is seeking an Accounting Manager for a remote role that reports to the CFO and collaborates with the Fractional Controller. You will lead the day-to-day accounting, close processes, and financial reporting while gaining executive visibility in a scaling organization.

The role offers broad exposure to revenue recognition, audits, tax coordination, and Board reporting, with significant opportunities for advancement as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred or active progress toward CPA license.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with some public accounting and SaaS/recurring revenue experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience owning a significant portion of a monthly close and working with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare or review recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and supporting management reporting.
• Maintain an organized, timely, and accurate close process.
• Assist with external reporting, filings, and stakeholder requests.
