Job summary

KeepingCount, LLC. is seeking an Accounting Manager for a remote, full-time role in the United States. You will lead day-to-day accounting operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple client engagements.

You will manage client communications, supervise reconciliation, payroll, AP/AR, and tax tasks, and drive process improvements. CPA or progress toward licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Public or outsourced accounting experience in a client-service environment.
• Proven experience managing accounting staff and coaching.
• Extensive client-facing experience with daily communication.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own client experience and ensure deadlines and communication are top priorities.
• Be primary contact by phone, email, and video; keep clients informed of progress.
• Oversee timely and accurate completion of tasks for assigned clients.
• Resolve client questions promptly and follow up for satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor junior staff on reconciliation, payroll, AP/AR, and tax matters.
• Conduct performance evaluations and training for staff.
