Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting across multiple companies and work directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals.

You will own the end-to-end accounting, review work, mentor junior staff and help clients improve processes. This 100% English, remote role is billed as a full-time independent contractor position with deadlines and high autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in client-facing environments.
• Big Four experience is required for this role.
• Fluent English communication with clients and teams.
• Experience with SaaS/tech/fintech or Web3 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review work for quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to resolve questions.
• Coach and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Support advisory and finance projects as they arise.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients as a trusted contact.
