Clark Schaefer Hackett seeks an experienced Manager to own delivery across a portfolio of clients and lead a distributed team. You will review financial statements, manage budgets and realization, and serve as the first point of contact for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of accounting experience (2+ years in a review role, 1 year coaching others), a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, CPA/CMA preferred, and advanced Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; required.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience; at least 2 years in a review capacity; required.
• CPA or CMA; preferred.
• Experience managing a high-volume portfolio of outsourced accounting, compilation or after-the-fact clients; preferred.
• Experience with offshore or distributed delivery teams; preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including reconstructing ledgers and building reusable schedules.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop; working knowledge of Xero, Sage 50, or similar.
• Strong project management, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and cultures; travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Own timely delivery across monthly, quarterly, and annual engagements.
• Review trial balances, reconciliations, statements, and year-end packages; approve before release.
• Approve preparation and compilation engagements per firm standards and guidelines.
• Scope, price, and oversee cleanup and multi-period reconstructions.
• Manage portfolio budgets, billing, realization, margins, and calendars.
• Serve as first-line client relationship owner; set scope, timing, and fees; lead recovery when needed.
• Pursue advisory opportunities such as cash flow forecasting and financial planning and analysis.
• Allocate work across onshore and offshore teams; maintain standards.
• Coach 4–8 team members; provide performance input to Senior Manager.
• Improve first-pass quality and reduce rework.
