Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the end-to-end month-end close and serve as the technical anchor of the accounting function. The role reports within the EnergyHub structure under Alarm.com and requires high precision across complex systems and processes.

You will lead close processes, drive improvements, collaborate with Alarm.com and internal teams, and play a pivotal role in ERP migration. A CPA with 6+ years in accounting, including public company experience, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and public company close experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to identify process gaps and build scalable solutions.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Redesign the close process for scalability and controls.
• Act as escalation point for complex or judgmental accounting matters (ASC 606).
• Partner with Alarm.com corporate accounting as primary close liaison and translate requirements for EnergyHub teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide accounting guidance for decisions.
• Play a key role in ERP migration in partnership with Finance leadership and Alarm.com team.
• Take on additional projects as the business grows.
