Job summary

Alarm.com in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced Manager of Corporate Accounting & Reporting to lead month-end and quarter-end close across a multi-entity structure. You will own financial reporting, system governance, and drive process improvements through ERP migrations and cloud tools.

You will supervise Senior and Staff Accountants, review journal entries, and partner with IT and Finance to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Active CPA required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial close, and multi-entity consolidation.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Dynamics GP.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities within set timelines.
• Administer close calendar, FX rates, and reconciliation sign-off status.
• Review consolidated entries and ensure ledger completeness before close.
• Compile and analyze recurring management reports, Flash reporting, and flux analysis.
• Prepare schedules and data inputs for corporate reporting and external requests.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance as first-level reviewer.
• Own or review assigned financial statement areas (revenue, AR, inventory, payroll, etc.).
• Lead system initiatives with IT, Finance Transformation, and Procurement; drive automation.
