Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to own the month-end and quarter-end close end-to-end, delivering accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.

The role requires an active CPA with 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and public company close, plus deep US GAAP knowledge and strong project management skills. You will redesign the close process and collaborate with internal teams to drive better decisions.

• Active CPA with 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and public company close.
• Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to explain the why behind technical requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and build scalable solutions with strong project management.

Responsibilities

• Own EnergyHub's month-end and quarter-end close end-to-end, crafting journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Redesign the close process from scratch, building scalable workflows, documentation, and controls.
• Partner with internal teams and corporate accounting to provide guidance and drive better decisions.
• Dig into discrepancies and translate complex requirements for non-accountants.
• Influence process evolution as the company grows.
