Job summary

Alarm.com, a leading SaaS & IoT company, seeks an experienced Manager, Corporate Accounting & Reporting to lead month-end close, consolidate multi-entity results, and own core finance systems (GP, Coupa, Expensify, Power BI). The role combines hands-on accounting with process improvements, staff supervision, and cross-functional partnership.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong US GAAP knowledge, with expertise in reporting, analytics, and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA active
• 6+ years accounting experience with close and consolidation; Big Four preferred
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and multi-entity consolidation experience
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (Dynamics GP or cloud ERP)
• Experience building management reporting and analytics (flash/flux)
• Experience improving processes through technology and automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities within set timelines
• Compile monthly Flash reporting package and quarterly flux analysis
• Review journals, reconciliations, and schedules for GAAP compliance
• Own or review multiple financial statement areas (revenue, AR, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, equity)
• Serve as day-to-day owner of core finance systems (GP, Coupa, Expensify, Power BI)
• Lead, coach, and develop Senior and Staff Accountants
• Collaborate with IT, Finance Transformation, and Procurement on ERP configurations
• Document procedures and train the accounting team on new tools and processes
