Job summary

Talentedge, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking an Accounting Manager to own day-to-day accounting, ensure audit readiness, and lead the monthly close under the Controller. You will work across AP/AR, treasury and technical accounting, support SEC reporting and SOX controls, and help scale the finance function in a high-growth public company.

Candidates should have 5+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP expertise, and CPA preferred; remote role with occasional in-person meetups; permanent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on close, GL and reconciliation ownership.
• Experience with SEC reporting and public-company accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and controls environment.
• Experience mentoring accounting staff.
• Strong communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts.
• Reconcile crypto assets with custodial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support revenue recognition, stock-based compensation and fixed assets.
• Prepare schedules for external audits and quarterly reviews.
• Support SEC reporting and SOX controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve close speed, accuracy and scalability.
• Reduce manual processes through automation.
• Provide day-to-day guidance for accounting staff.
