Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an Accounting Manager (CPA) for a fully remote role servicing a Nasdaq-listed client. You will lead end-to-end balance sheet and income statement workstreams, coordinating with the CFO and engagement Controllers.

You will own account areas, prepare reconciliations, implement controls, respond to auditors, and drive the close process on a public company calendar.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 3–5 years accounting experience.
• 2+ years in public accounting (audit senior level) required.
• Hands-on SOX/ICFR knowledge and audit evidence.
• Experience with SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own account areas (cash, prepaids, accruals, intangibles) end-to-end with audit-ready support.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, flux analyses, and workpapers tied to consolidation/10-Q/10-K.
• Document and operate controls: sign-offs, evidence, audit trail.
• Respond to external auditor PBC requests and support quarterly reviews/year-end audit.
• Identify new entities/accounts/transactions and propose solutions.
• Review staff accountants’ work and provide guidance.
• Adhere to a public company close calendar and deadlines.
