DCX is hiring a Home Based Accounting Assistant to join our client services team in a full-time capacity. You’ll work remotely from the United States, handle accounting tasks, and follow client processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and expert QuickBooks skills. Proficiency in Excel and Office applications is essential, along with strong English communication and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Related bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Very proficient with Excel
• Growth mindset with ongoing training
• Love for business development and numbers
• Ability to perform clerical functions to support supervisors, including researching, tracking, and resolving accounting problems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage requests for extra work quotes involving EPO/VPO
• Follow up on overdue builder invoices to support timely payment collection
• Handle disputes related to builder invoices, EPOs, and VPOs
• Process builder payments
• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Process subcontractor invoices and ensure proper documentation
• Upload purchase orders and perform EPO/VPO matching
• Upload plans and plot plans as required
• Process and manage subcontractor backcharges
• Process and manage vendor backcharges
• Process and manage builder backcharges
