RedefinED is seeking an experienced accounting professional to keep financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. This full-time role works from home with occasional in-person attendance and collaborates directly with the CFO.

Prior accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks are required, along with strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. The position emphasizes ownership, accountability, and the ability to build scalable financial processes as the company grows.

Qualifications

• At least three years of accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reporting.
• Experience supporting budgets and financial reports.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
• Independent worker who meets deadlines and takes ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
• Track vendor bills and coordinate approved payments.
• Support month-end close, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve problems, and improve processes as we grow.
