Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking an Accounting Associate to oversee general accounting, reconciliations and controls for our clients. This role partners with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant and audit-ready financial records.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong Excel skills, excellent English communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote offshore environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Excel proficiency for updating and reviewing spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently in an offshore environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Handle high-volume transaction processing.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis as needed.
