OpenKrill, a remote data products & machine learning startup, seeks an Accounting Analyst to join the Finance team. You will handle invoicing, expense processing, provisions, reconciliations, and monthly closings, while improving processes in a fast-growing environment.

English communication is essential. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in accounting/finance, experience with reconciliations and month-end close, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting or finance-related experience.
• Hands-on experience processing purchase invoices and expense records.
• Experience preparing accounting accruals and provisions.
• Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Understanding of the monthly closing process.
• Knowledge of tax concepts and regulatory compliance (VAT, withholdings, tax docs).
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to communicate in English

Responsabilités

• Record and process purchase invoices and expense documentation.
• Track, organize, and maintain supporting accounting documentation.
• Prepare monthly accounting provisions and accruals.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly expense reports and analyze spending variances.
• Monitor and follow up on pending invoices and supporting documents.
• Support the monthly accounting close process.
• Assist with tax controls and provide documentation for external accountants.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Coordinate tasks using Slack and ClickUp.
• Support continuous improvements in accounting processes.
