Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the financial operations of the organization. You will maintain records, process transactions, prepare reports, and reconcile bank statements to ensure fiscal integrity and operational effectiveness.

You will manage revenue for CPA physicians billing, overseeing approximately $550 million annually, maintaining spreadsheets, and ensuring accurate posting to the General Ledger.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required)
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (Required)
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balances.
• Process billings and apply cash receipts from customers.
• Pull deposits and prepare reports for CPA Management review.
• Identify credit card disputes and postings and provide instructions.
• Import daily bank files and reconcile with billing system and GL.
• Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for deposits and transactions.
