Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage accounts payable/receivable, maintain general ledger integrity, and support monthly closings from its Whitehall, PA operation. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, reconciliation tasks, and collaboration with internal teams.

You will interact with customers and vendors, help prepare reports, and participate in process improvements while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting, AP/AR, or related experience preferred.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting of daily cash and weekly aging balance.
• Reconcile customer A/R balances with electronic billing systems and resolve billing differences.
• Review expense accounts monthly for incorrectly posted items and reclassify journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis and assist with monthly closings.
• Assist with annual financial audit and support ad hoc projects as assigned.
