Job summary

You will evaluate applications and secure resources for patients within policy timeframes, collaborating with facilities across the health system.

The role requires 1–2 years in hospital accounts receivable, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of accounting basics; familiarity with payer workflows and billing processes

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital accounts receivable (1–2 years).
• Ability to understand and resolve basic customer service issues.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and basic math.
• Familiarity with payer applications, billing and/or collections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Financial Assistance applications per policy and procedure guidelines.
• Evaluate applications to secure financial resources for patients within policy timeframes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle team and facilities across the Health System to ensure accurate processing.
