Qualifications

• 4+ years of billing, AR/collections experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attorneys, clients, and leadership.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with e-billing software (Legal Tracker, Collaborati, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and distribute client invoices and electronic billing.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure billing guidelines are followed.
• Ensure timely invoice submission per client deadlines.
• Review billing information for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Partner with attorneys and staff to enable accurate billing.
• Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Identify delays, escalate high-risk accounts, and discuss aging balances with attorneys.
