Job summary

CFGI is seeking a Consultant – Accounting Advisory to join a team delivering high-impact accounting advisory services to a diverse client base. You will engage with client management, perform due diligence, assist with carve-outs, and support regulatory filings while leveraging your GAAP expertise and analytical skills.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in public or industry accounting, strong communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset geared toward delivering quality client service.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in teams and manage client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, ethical and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operational due diligence for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs).
• Handle accounting projects involving carving out business units or subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with client staff as a subject matter expert on senior accounting tasks.
• Prepare financial and regulatory information per SEC requirements (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-4).
• Conduct research and documentation on ASC accounting standards.
• Lead process improvements and implement changes.
