Job summary

CFGI is seeking a Manager-level professional to work with Fortune 500 and growth-stage clients, leading project teams and interacting with clients and Big 4 auditors. You will own engagements from start to finish, mentor staff, and contribute to business development and client relationships.

You will integrate with senior management to address complex accounting issues, review diligence work, and ensure SEC/regulatory reporting compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, consulting, and/or corporate accounting/finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
• Experience applying U.S. GAAP through financial statement preparation, audit engagements, month-end close, financial reporting, or technical accounting research.
• Experience leading engagement workstreams, supervising staff, and managing project timelines and deliverables.
• Experience reviewing work product, providing guidance to junior team members, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Experience applying accounting and financial reporting knowledge to solve complex business and accounting challenges.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with client’s senior management to solve complex accounting issues and prepare proposed resolutions.
• Review work by consultants on operational due diligence for transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs).
• Review deliverables of financial and regulatory information per SEC requirements (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-4).
• Lead research and documentation on new ASC accounting standards.
• Drive process improvement and implement changes.
• Lead and mentor consultants, role-model behavior, and provide solutions to enhance experience.
• Support recruiting, client relationship building, and business development efforts.
