HTSS, Inc. is recruiting an Accountant to support a large utility company headquartered in Allentown, PA. This is a fully remote, long-term assignment with potential for extension or permanent hire.

Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Allentown, PA. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, analyzing financial data, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve accounting issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business with accounting coursework.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (2–4 years).
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and accounting analyses.
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
• Research accounting guidance and document findings.
• Partner with internal teams to solve accounting issues.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
