Ciena Corporation in the United States is seeking an Account Manager to execute go-to-market strategy for a large Tier-1 provider, managing relationships with VAR partners and driving bookings, revenue and margin.

You will develop strategic plans with VARs, align with global sales leadership, forecast demand with supply chain teams, monitor inventory and PO coverage, and represent the business with executive presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in telecom/networking sales or sales operations.
• Experience with Tier-1 service providers purchasing, supply chain, and inventory.
• Forecasting and demand planning experience for networking hardware.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic and commercial plan with VAR partners for hardware, software, and services.
• Align Tier-1 provider, VAR partners, and global sales leadership.
• Own forecasting process with supply chain and demand planning teams.
• Monitor inventory consumption and track forecast performance.
• Ensure purchase order coverage and on-time delivery.
• Deliver bookings, revenue, and margin results.
• Represent the business with executive presence and collaboration.
