Job summary

Ciena is seeking an Associate Account Manager within its Interconnects segment. You will manage strategic customer accounts, drive solution sales, and align with OEMs/ODMs across data center, access, and core networks.

The role focuses on building relationships and guiding opportunities with a solutions-oriented approach. You will work with senior sales leadership to forecast, plan, and close deals while developing new business across global channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B account sales focused on technology or components.
• Ability to train and drive solution sales with OEM/ODM partners.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead with articulating Ciena’s value to OEM/ODM partners.
• Execute sales plans to drive deals to closure.
• Collaborate with OEM sales and support teams to train and sell solutions.
• Build relationships across customer levels and with Ciena resources.
• Drive strategic business plans for targeted customers with sales leadership support.
• Provide guidance on responses to customer requests and opportunities.
• Travel 35% domestically and internationally.
