Job summary

New Zealand Window Shades is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across the North Island from a fully remote base. You’ll own the territory, build relationships with retailers and dealers, and collaborate with NZWS’s nationwide dealer network.

In this field‑driven role you’ll identify opportunities, manage a strong pipeline, support product launches, provide retailer training, and report on market insights to inform planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management, territory sales, or business development.
• Experience selling technical, specification-based products is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Comfort with remote work and travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your territory through regular in-person engagement and planned calls.
• Build trusted relationships with retailers, dealers, and key customer groups.
• Identify new business opportunities, re‑engage dormant accounts, and maintain a strong pipeline.
• Support new product launches and promotional activity in market.
• Deliver product training and technical support to retailers as needed.
• Use performance data to guide territory strategy and decision-making.
• Provide reporting, forecasting, and market insights to support planning.
