Job summary

You will own account strategy, build executive relationships, and drive multi-year plans that align with network modernization, cloud enablement, and security initiatives.

The role is remote/teleworker, focusing on complex procurement cycles within public and higher-education sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology sales or account management experience.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies including data center switching, WAN, Wi‑Fi, security.
• Experience with SLED/public sector or higher education sales is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounts and multi-stakeholder cycles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Higher Education and state government accounts across Colorado and New Mexico.
• Develop multi-year account plans aligned to customer initiatives.
• Build senior IT and executive relationships within institutions.
• Drive full-cycle sales from discovery to close and manage pipeline.
• Collaborate with SEs, partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Represent HPE Networking in executive briefings and education-sector events.
