Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate daily account activities. Hybrid work is preferred with some onsite days, or fully remote for eligible Eastern/Central Time Zone candidates.

Ideal candidates will hold an active P&C license, have 3–5 years of account management experience, and possess strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing required; CIC preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold company policies.
• Seek best practices to improve team performance.
