Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of account management experience, active P&C licensing, and strong client-service skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Track renewals and expirations, preparing submissions when needed.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Pursue continuous improvement and uphold IOA values.
