The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, with 3–5 years in account management and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections; ensure data accuracy in agency systems.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team; communicate workload status clearly.
