Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new business. The role involves coordinating daily admin and customer service tasks, resolving complex issues, and ensuring accurate policy administration, billing, and renewals.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, and demonstrate strong analytical and client-service

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• Professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong client focus and service orientation.
• Solid knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention and growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timeliness.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and submissions.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Seek process improvements to enhance performance.
• Uphold IOA values with integrity and leadership.
