Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with emphasis on retention and new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and negotiate coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and follow IOA policies and procedures
• Seek best practices to improve team performance
