Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest is seeking an Account Manager on our Select team in Schaumburg, IL. You will ensure delivery of services by creating customized plans, building client relationships, negotiating coverage, and managing proposals and renewals.

You will maintain accurate client information, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a high-energy, client-focused service environment in a fast-paced brokerage. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance at an agency or related company, preferably in an Account Manager position or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively service customers
• Being a self-starter; highly organized problem solver with good time management skills to meet deadlines
• Interpreting complex documents, such as insurance policies with multiple coverages, detailed applications and proposals
• Experience managing the full marketing process and negotiating contracts
• Ability to work on a fast paced, high volume, and high-energy team while maintaining a positive attitude
