Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest in Schaumburg, IL seeks a Senior Account Manager to deliver tailored service plans, build strong client relationships, negotiate coverage, and manage proposals and renewals.

You will engage in strategic planning for clients, work with cross-functional teams, and travel to meetings as needed. A background in insurance and proven Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential; a Life & Health license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance experience in applicable lines and employee benefits
• Negotiating contracts, leading renewal meetings and presenting at open enrollment meetings
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and agency management systems
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver customized service plans to clients and ensure successful service delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their needs
• Negotiate coverage, manage proposals and renewals, and contribute to client strategy
• Prepare detailed analyses and presentations for client meetings
• Guide team members and review work for accuracy
