Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a designated book of business, drive retention, and support new business initiatives with a focus on client needs and service excellence.

The role is remote-friendly with potential hybrid onsite work for CA, NV, OR, WA and AZ residents. Active P&C license and PT hours are required; CIC designation preferred to advance in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: client research, submissions, and proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, timely service and seek continuous improvement.
