Job summary

Insurance Office Of America, Inc. (IOA) in California is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines. The role is open to residents in CA, NV, OR, WA, and AZ with Pacific Time hours and occasional on‑site work as needed.

You will manage an assigned book, support new business, coordinate admin tasks, and ensure service excellence while renewing policies and handling complex account issues. A valid P&C license is required.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
