Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensure client retention, and support new business development.

You will coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis, and collaborate with the account team to deliver proactive service and timely renewals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis; monitor expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals for renewals.
