Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to support a growing client book and ensure retention. You will coordinate day-to-day service, renewals, and billing while maintaining strong carrier relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), an active P&C license, and MS Office proficiency; CIC or equivalent is a plus. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
