Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention and growth initiatives
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities and resolve complex issues
• Renewals: research clients, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and present proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Deliver proactive service and stay aligned with company policies and procedures
