Job summary

ThermoSafe is seeking an Account Manager to drive direct sales with key accounts and prospects in the life sciences and healthcare markets. You will own plans, nurture multi-level relationships, and identify opportunities to introduce ThermoSafe’s cold chain packaging solutions across remote US accounts.

Qualifications

• 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of cold chain packaging preferred.
• Ability to develop account plans and manage relationships.
• Strong communication and remote work capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain updated account plans for major and prospective accounts.
• Provide input to marketing to support strategic planning and account plans.
• Implement and coordinate activities for each account plan and monitor effectiveness.
• Provide progress reports on each account plan.
• Establish and monitor a call plan for customers and prospects.
• Monitor customer activity, report on expansions, closings and trends.
• Maintain detailed customer files and contacts.
• Develop and maintain a list of prospective customers.
• Provide sales projections for budgeting.
• Investigate and coordinate resolution of complaints.
• Support trade shows and industry events as requested.
• Stay current on selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Serve as regional account coordinator as requested.
• Promote new products and services for the region.
