Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Account Manager for a remote role focused on driving new business in a manufacturing and automotive space. You will build and manage a pipeline, secure customers in the assigned territory, and develop strategic plans to grow revenue and market share.

The role requires 4–8 years in outside sales or related fields, strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience with CRM systems. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in outside sales, business development, or account management.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win new business.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activities.
• Industrial packaging or related B2B sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
• Prospect and secure new customers in the assigned territory
• Develop strategic account plans to enhance revenue and market share
• Build relationships with key decision-makers
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and commercial agreements
• Manage sales activity through CRM, including forecasting
• Conduct customer visits and technical consultations
