Job summary

Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up, is seeking an Account Executive (NorthAm) to grow our client base across the US and Canada. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from self-sourcing to demo to close, and collaborate with our NorthAm team to expand in the region.

You’ll bring 2–3 years of public sector experience, a hunter’s mindset, and a consultative approach to win complex, longer sales cycles while thriving in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment. Remote work is supported in US time zones.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience or affinity with the public sector.
• Hunter's mindset: self-motivated and driven to close.
• Consultative, structured approach to longer sales cycles.
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven team.
• Based in the US, Eastern or Central time zone.

Responsibilities

• Grow our client base by understanding local government challenges and building trust as a partner.
• Own the full sales cycle for local governments: self-sourcing, demos, and close.
• Source leads via outbound outreach, referrals, and public sector events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our NorthAm team (Sales & Government Success).
• Provide market insights to Marketing and Product; feed tender processes with Operations.
• Drive tender processes with our Operations team.
