Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to grow our institutional Broker API business across the United States. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business.

You will partner with fintech platforms, broker-dealers, RIAs, wealth managers, banks, and other financial institutions, driving revenue growth in a distributed remote team with a preference for NY, Chicago, or Austin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of selling technology or financial services to financial institutions.
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets and growing business.
• Experience selling to broker‑dealers, RIAs, and banks preferred.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close.
• Build a healthy pipeline through outbound, referrals and partnerships.
• Drive revenue growth for Alpaca’s institutional Broker API across the U.S.
• Develop relationships with decision makers at fintechs, RIAs, and banks.
• Deliver product demos, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with Teams across Engineering, Product, Integrations, Marketing, Success, and Legal.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in CRM.
• Represent Alpaca at industry events and client meetings.
